The Live Oak Music Hall & Lounge founder, Bill Smith, is taking a 5000 square foot Near Southside historic building that once housed the Lion’s Club and transforming it into a relaxing, intimate acoustic lounge and auditorium-style music hall.
In these ideal showcase settings, Live Oak patrons will experience varying styles of music from nearly every genre, performed by the hottest emerging artists to the most renowned, established touring acts.
From the snug comfort and style of the 50s era lounge that’s reminiscent of Sinatra and Cole, to the lively, scenic rooftop patio, guests can enjoy a full bar, a large selection of draft beers and mixed drinks, and delicious, soul-soothing food. The adjacent music hall promises to be the newest gathering spot for great music accompanied by a delightful menu of food and beverages. Outside, street level patios await.
The Live Oak Music Hall & Lounge will soon become the North Texas spot for good music, food, drinks, and the ideal place for friends to gather.
THE MUSIC HALL
The Live Oak’s Music Hall will feature the nation’s most established national touring artists, the hottest new acts to hit the scene, as well as D/FW’s bright local talent. With state of the art sound design, the Music Hall promises an ideal setting for a wide range of genres. Depending upon the night, the Music Hall can and will be utilized for table seated dinner and show, auditorium seating, and full standing events.
THE LOUNGE
The Live Oak’s Lounge will feature live music nightly, offering the enduring simplicity of a lounge singer and pianist, guitarist or perhaps a singer/songwriter. You can expect for it to be rich in comfort and style reminiscent of a 1950s era lounge.
THE RESTAURANT AND BAR
The Live Oak’s Restaurant & Bar will feature specialty drinks, well and call liquors, and a large selection of domestic and imported draft beers. Menus for each seating area offer a wide range of food personally prepared and served by an outstanding kitchen and wait staff under guidance of a renowned chef and seasoned management. Among the offerings will be an extensive tapas selection and a varied, customizable special event menu.
THE ROOFTOP
Up above, the Rooftop patio offers a beautiful view of the Fort Worth skyline and great setting for outside dining. All rooftop patio seating is accessed by outside staircase where guests bring their drinks to sit by open fire pits. Full bar and wait service are also available.
THE PATIOS
A perfect vantage point for enjoying the lively scene that defines this entertainment neighborhood, our south patio offers umbrella shade and the east patio faces the exterior stage, with a portable bar nearby.
